Making rain gardens and drainage a topic of hot conversation is a tricky business. But that’s exactly what we did for Melbourne Water. When it rains, litter, cigarette butts, excess nutrients, chemicals and sediment wash from roofs, roads and pavements down stormwater drains, affecting the health of rivers and creeks. Our special-build outdoor campaign demonstrated the simplicity and utility of home-built rain gardens, and got Australians talking about the real impact they could have on the health of our rivers and creeks.
